For more than 30 years, I have been active in the art scene, developing my skills and techniques with the help of various artists. My work is deeply rooted in nature, with water in all its forms playing a central role. My pieces reflect the beauty and complexity of the natural world, depicting both the moving and reflective aspects as well as the hidden and the obvious.

I primarily use flowing acrylic colors, which I apply in multiple layers. This technique allows me to create an impressive depth and dynamism in my paintings. By playing with transparency and overlays in combination with cyanotype techniques, primarily featuring historical objects, I create works that invite the viewer to discover new details again and again. The creative use of this technique lends my pieces a unique multi-layered complexity.

The themes of my work are varied, with nature and water always at the forefront. I explore the moving and reflective nature of water, which I see as a symbol of change and reflection. Through the layering of acrylic paints, a depth emerges that mirrors the multi-layered character of the natural world.

I work with a consciously limited color palette to convey a sense of harmony, tranquility, and clarity. The colors are chosen to highlight the natural elements and their interactions. The fresh clarity of the sea’s movement or the silent calm of a morning landscape are central aspects of my pieces. Through this intentional choice of color, I create works that are both aesthetically pleasing and thought-provoking.
